Coconut Chicken Curry
This curry will transport you to paradise, aka, the Seychelles. A classic Seychellois chicken curry, with tender meat, warming spices and creamy rich gravy.
Lemon Poppy Seed Pan-Banging Cookies
Lemon, ginger and poppy seeds come together to make possibly the greatest cookie on ever- Think of it as if a ginger snap met a lemon pound cake…
Shiitake Congee
My perfect soothing and gentle food to have. Can be vegan, vegetarian, or not. It’s the bowl of comfort your stomach has been waiting for.
Half Soy Chicken with Miso Shallot Sauce
Incredible umami, the most tender succulent chicken. This is the perfectly balanced chicken and sauce dish you’ll come across.
Marinated Crispy Pork with Sichuan Peppercorn
This dish is inspired by the Moo Klook Foon from Soi Geneva, using the ‘breading’ technique used in taiwanese fried chicken. The result is flavourful, juicy, crispy and slightly numbing from the sichuan peppercorns.
Ginger Butternut Soup
The perfect soup to warm yourself with in the cold winter months. This soup brings warmth through cinnamon, cumin and loads of ginger.
Miso Popcorn Chicken
Umami, fresh, tender, juicy and crisp nugs. The easiest and best chicken to make at home.
Pak Choi, Ginger & Soy Mince Stir Fry
A delicious, and dish that can be eaten alone with rice or as a side. Fresh, zingy and full of umami, this veggie recipe won’t make you miss meat.
Chicken-less Chicken Noodle Soup
My 1 and only favourite version of chicken noodle soup. Whether you’re sick or not, this is a warming and comforting soup to have.
Creole ‘Grilled’ Fish
A Seychelles classic. This ‘grilled’ fish is packed with umami and fresh flavours, with the possibility of cooking it 3 different ways.
Tamarind Chicken
This tamarind chicken is bursting with flavours: tangy, sour, and slightly sweet. Not to mention exceptionally tender and juicy.
Ginger Matcha Semifreddo with Coconut Black Sesame Brittle
After loads of brainstorming, the first ‘ice cream’ recipe is up. It’s not ice cream technically… it’s more a semifreddo, but vegan (if using without honey.) The dessert is a gorgeous green colour, and tastes like a heavenly nutty, gingery matcha latte. The perfect dessert to cool off.
L’étouffé Mackerel
L’étoufé sounds like a fancy dish, but in reality it just means smothered. In this case the fish is cooked on gentle heat with the lid on. It maybe one of the healthiest recipes i’ve made so far, but it’s still a delish one.
Basic Lentil dal
This is one of the staple dishes made in my household. There’s always this specific lentil dal wither fresh or in the freezer because it’s a perfect side dish. Whether it’s eaten alone with rice, or with some fish, chicken… It’s perfect. It’s also made of pantry staples only… so it really could not get any better.
Coconut Dal Potato Curry
This coconut dal potato curry is unlike any veggie curry i’ve ever made. The blend of spices create a nutty aroma and the tempered spices you add at the end really take things to another level. This is a great dish to make whenever you have a hankering for curry.
