Seeded Yoghurt Flatbreads

Golden flatbreads speckled with a medley of different seeds.

I’ve always been obssesed with bread, but these yoghurt flatbreads take no time to make and are so incredibly easy. They take so little effort that you can actually make them for a weeknight dinner.

Makes: 4 Flatbreads

Prep/Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

250g Plain Flour

2 Tbsps Poppy Seeds

2 Tbsps Sesame Seeds

1 Tsp Salt

2 Tbsps Hemp Seeds

1 Tbsp Chia Seeds

1 Tsp Baking Powder

1/2 Tsp Baking Soda

200g Natural Yoghurt

Method

  1. Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together. Pour the yoghurt in and mix to form a dough, cover and let rest for 10-20 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, preheat your grill to high.

  3. Portion the dough into 4 even pieces. Place onto a lightly floured surface and roll out until 1cm thick.

  4. Place a frying pan on medium heat. Once hot, add a flatbread and cook until bubbles start forming, 2-3 minutes. Then, keeping the bubbly side up, place the flatbread under the grill and cook until golden and puffed up, 2-3 minutes (depending on the grill, keep an eye on them as they can easily burn).

  5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight bad or box- reheat before serving.
